Fascinated by photography

The story behind the picture

This is a good friend of mine introducing his son to the magic world of photography. I took this one when I visited their new house and got to know their two children which I had not met yet since I had left for South Africa 3 years before that and they were born shortly after. It was quite hard to get a good shot with natural light so this one was a compromise: ISO 1600 and F2.8 make this a very soft but still usable picture. The colors are faded but not quite black & white though.
